I'm Scarlett
Hi, my name is Scarlett Duncan. I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. I draw from my medical background and blend it with my passion for beauty to hone an artistic approach to aesthetic injections with an attention to detail. I enjoy both Botox® (preventative) and filler (restorative) injections much in the same way that I appreciate a good skin care regimen and stunning makeup. I also love the immediate and beautiful results of lip filler treatments for my patients
I have always been passionate about healthy lifestyle changes that lead to better health, which is what first brought me to nursing. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) in 2009. After graduation, I worked as a registered nurse in a cardiac unit at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV. Inspired to further my education, I went on to earn my Master’s degree in Nursing from UNR and became a nurse practitioner in 2016.
As an advanced care provider, I gained experience in infectious diseases, wound care, aesthetic injections and laser treatments. Infectious diseases provided a strong foundation in anatomy, pathophysiology, and pharmacology. Skin evaluation and dexterity are critical components of wound care. Despite my true appreciation for the acute care environment, helping clients embrace their own reflection in the mirror is where I saw my passion and profession really come together. As a Simsbury resident myself, I hope to share my passion and expertise
with the community.
